| Sequoia National Park is adjacent to Kings Canyon National Park in California's southern Sierra Nevada mountains. It's known for its huge sequoia trees, notably the General Sherman Tree dominating the Giant Forest. The underground Crystal Cave features streams and striking rock formations. Moro Rock is a granite dome offering sweeping park views. Nearby is the Tunnel Tree, a toppled tree cut to accommodate the road.

TRIP PLAN SATURDAY- Carpool Location: 7:00AM-7:15AM Sunnyvale 293 E Hendy Ave. Sunnyvale, CA 94086 7:00AM-7:15AM East Bay Meeting location will let you know. Driving Time: 4 Hours * Group picnic lunch by the park. * Explore the park until 4:00PM. * Group dinner at our hotel. * Evening swimming pool and outdoor hot tub social. SUNDAY- * Rising early optional sunrise hike. Big Baldy Trailhead right at the edge of our camp, which makes for a spectacular sunrise hike for 360° views of the Sequoia & Kings Canyon back country, and the Central Valley of California. * Self-guided boating on our private lake (canoes, paddle boats, kayaks). * Head off for a half day in the park full of hiking, sightseeing and exploring. Buffet Meal Times: Dinner Saturday: 5:30pm-7:00pm Breakfast Sunday: 7:30am-9:00am TRIP COST: $168 Early-bird $178 Regular Rate This adventure includes 1 nights at Montecito Sequoia cabin, happy hours, 4 meals and all park fees. TRIP CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation penalties apply to all our over night trips. A minimum administrative fee of $25 for weekend trips. In the event a cancellation occurs before a trip leaves and a replacement is found, deposits and payments will be refunded, less the admin fee.  |
