Rafting down this Class 3 river is filled with adventure and thrills.

The water is warm and the rapids are always fantastic. Cache Creek offers the only self-guided whitewater in the state. At Cache Canyon, you can stop and picnic or swim or sunbathe whenever and wherever you want.

FIRST-TIME RAFTER IRENE SAID: "It was an overnight trip and in the evening we camped out and were served margaritas, steak and chicken with huge baked potatoes... Then came the evening disco under the stars... There were strobe lights and smoke and loud disco tunes and people dancing on the tables... There was a huge campfire and I layed back on a log and watched shooting stars. There were SO MANY STARS in the sky! I could not believe it! On our way home we stopped off at the Jelly Belly outlet and I bought cappucino and caramel corn flavored jelly beans... What more is there in life! I had a great time. It is something that everyone should try... at least once in life! "

THINGS TO BRING: Go to http://www.gotwhitewater.com/details.htm for a detailed list. Don't forget ice cream money and water guns!
***************************************
WATER GUN INFO: The best type for the trip would be a "Stream Machine". Most "Super Soaker" water guns just don't have the capacity, nor do they have the ease of refilling and the "drench power" like that of the Stream Machine. Try REI or Toys R Us stores. (www.rei.com). If you want to buy it on line try typing "stream machine water gun" into www.google.com search engine.
