Rafting down this Class 3 river is filled with adventure and thrills.

The water is warm and the rapids are always fantastic. Cache Creek offers the only self-guided white water in the state. At Cache Canyon, you can stop and picnic or swim or sunbathe whenever and wherever you want.

"It was an overnight trip and in the evening we camped out and were served margaritas and wine... Then came the evening under the stars... There was a huge campfire and I layed back on a log and watched shooting stars. There were SO MANY STARS in the sky! I could not believe it! On our way home we stopped off at the Jelly Belly outlet and I bought cappucino and caramel corn flavoured jelly beans... What more is there in life! I had a great time. It is something that everyone should try... at least once in life! "

This trip offers one night of camping. You can bring a tent, trailer or motor-home. You will have access to your vehicles all weekend.

IF YOU WANT TO GO JUST FOR 1 DAY OF RAFTING (Sun 6/23), pay just $60. Then just drive up early on Sunday and come back home the same day.

After June 10th, there are no refunds or credits given; however, you are allowed to find replacements for your reservations.
It is suggested that you bring a small plastic ice chest (no Styrofoam) with snacks and plenty of water or other non-alcoholic beverages (no glass bottles) for your trip. Don't forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, a disposable waterproof camera, and secure footwear. Tennis shoes, water shoes, or any tight fitting shoes or secure fitting sandals such as Tevas are acceptable for rafting. You must have the proper footwear to raft (no flip-flops or bare feet). Don't forget ice cream money and water guns!
The best type for the trip would be a "Stream Machine". Most "Super Soaker" water guns just don't have the capacity, nor do they have the ease of refilling and the "drench power" like that of the Stream Machine. Try REI or Toys R Us stores. (www.rei.com). If you want to buy it on line try typing "stream machine water gun" into www.google.com search engine.
